SEASON 6 OF THE AWARD WINNING EPIC TRAILS TV SERIES PREMIERING JULY 6, 2023

Heliconia, the award-winning video production company behind the exciting Epic Trails television series, is pleased to announce that the latest season is set to premiere on Bally Sports Network the week of July 6th, 2023 across all their US regional networks.

Epic Trails is an adventure travel series that follows host, Eric Hanson as he discovers the people, places and adventures surrounding the world’s best hiking and outdoor destinations. Eric’s mission is to inspire and educate people to get outdoors, hiking and backpacking, and to reap the benefits of sustainable outdoor adventure. In this first episode of Season 6, Eric treks the Great Ocean Walk to the world famous Twelve Apostles in Victoria, Australia.

Subsequent Epic Trails episodes in season 6 will feature incredible journeys to West Virginia, a two-part Grand Canyon episode series with co-influencer Dan Becker, an episode amongst mountains, plains and gorillas in Rwanda, epic hiking through Montana’s Kootenai National Forest and an adventure on the Maah Daah Hey Trail in North Dakota.

The show’s premiere airing will be delivered via the Bally Sports Network group across all their regional sports networks and is only the first phase of the series’ distribution. All episodes are also being broadcast on Outside TV later that week as well as on the Water Network at the beginning of August.  Epic Trails will also be offered for distribution to leading streaming networks including Roku, United Airlines, GoUSAtv as well as broadcasters across Europe and South America. Digital versions of Eric’s adventures, alongside gear reviews and tips can also be found at the Backpacking TV YouTube Channel where they have been viewed over 12 million times by 121k fans.
